The Bandai Hobby Open
Introducing The Bandai Hobby Open, a new online model kit contest from Bluefin Brands! This contest allows you to make a new model kit entry using parts from any of model kits from Bandai Hobby!
The contest will run from May 1st 2020 to September 1st 2020. Winners will be announced on a live stream from Bluefin Brands (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Twitch) on September 2nd 2020.
There will be 3 categories: Beginner, Intermediate and Expert. Each category will have 1 winner who will receive a trophy and model kit prizes from Bluefin.

Q: Can I enter a model kit that I have already built?
A: Yes, you can enter a model you’ve already built it does not need to be a newly built model.
Q: Can I scratch build parts?
A: Yes, you can scratch build parts for your model kit.
Q: Can I use multiple model kits in my diorama?
A: Yes, you can add multiple kits in a diorama.
Q: Are Bandai model kits with the Red Bandai Logo usable in the contest?
A: Yes, all model kits from Bandai Hobby are eligible.
Q: Does my entry need to be painted?
A: No, your model does not need to be painted, kit bashed or customized to be entered.
Q: Can I enter a model kit that was in a previous model kit contest?
A: You may enter model kits that have been entered in a previous contest, excluding models that have won or placed at a Bandai sponsored/run contest.
